NOOSA SPRINGS GOLF
REGISTRATIONS are being taken for the final Noosa Springs Golf Club Ladies Day on 1 December.
Round two of the competition was held recently with dark skies failing to dampen the enthusiasm of 72 lady golfers who teed off in friendly but fierce competition in the second round of Noosa Springs’ Ladies Day competition.
Noosa Springs’ golf services manager Warren Ellis said it was encouraging to see Ladies Day well supported locally and garnering increasing interest nationally.
Sunshine Coast golf clubs were well represented: Noosa Springs, Peregian Springs, Pelican Waters, Twin Waters, Noosa Golf Club (Tewantin) and Mt Coolum plus major national clubs: The Australian Golf Club (Sydney), Torquay (Victoria), The Grange (SA) and Royal Hobart (Tasmania).
Following the Single Stableford, the women revived with a champagne lunch, laughter, a fashion parade and presentations.
Congratulations to Fay Layton who won first place with a score of 38 points on countback.
Don’t miss the thrilling conclusion 1 December and the draw of the major holiday prize.
Ladies who played two days in the series automatically go in the grand draw to win a Noosa Springs holiday valued at more than $800.
