Music is uniquely Mental

Don't miss Mental As Anything at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club on Sunday 6 September.

IF you’re looking for a way to treat dad this Fathers’ Day why not send him Mental As Anything with a special performance at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club.
From simple beginnings as a student band playing the blues, ’60s pop and country, Mental As Anything has become one of Australia’s most iconic rock bands.
In 1978, the band was picked up by Regular Records, which sold out 1300 copies of their three-track vinyl Mental As Anything Plays At Your Party in just two weeks.
The vinyl featured their best-known track The Nips Are Getting Bigger, which became the band’s first national hit in 1979 through Festival Records.
What followed was a string of hits throughout the ’80s and ’90s such as Come Around, Just Like Romeo and Juliet, Too Many Times and so many more.
Now, Mental fans can take a step back in time when the band performs at Sunshine Beach Surf Club for a special Fathers’ Day gig on Sunday 6 September.
Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members, kids are free so bring Dad for a great day out.
Tickets can be booked at club reception or phone 5447 5491.
