THANKS to Paul Lanfear who captured this cheeky seagull stealing a chip straight from the mouth of a pelican on Noosa River foreshore.
“I was down by the Boathouse with my daughter taking shots of the pelicans when someone sat on the picnic bench and started throwing chips for them,” he said.
“As the pelican had one in its mouth the cheeky gull flew in and took it away. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
The gull made a lucky escape with the chip.
