Bubble bowl comp fun

LOCAL radio station Zinc 96.1 is bringing the world’s newest sporting craze to Noosa for the inaugural Zinc 96 Bubble Bowl on Sunday 18 October.
The sport dubbed bubble soccer, Zinc 96.1 has given listeners the chance to win a team entry into the official Bubble Bowl tournament and family fun day that will take place at the Noosa Tigers AFL grounds on Sunday 18 October.
Listeners will round up a team of six and shape up against others in the official soccer arena for the ultimate prize – the Gary Coleman Memorial Trophy, handcrafted by one of our very own breakfast show hosts, Nugget.
The tournament is also a family fun day for the whole family with free face painting, balloon twisting, games, jumping castles, inflatables and a bungee run for the kids.
An array of food and beverage market stalls will also be there on the day to keep locals full.
All the action is on from 10am-2pm on the main AFL oval on Weyba Road, Noosaville.
Zinc 96 breakfast show host Al said he was looking forward to a great day out in Noosa.
“With so many great events happening around the place, this is just another that the whole family can get amongst while not hurting the pocket of locals,” he said.
