Tracey Coombes’s life has been shaped by music so it is fair to say that she doesn’t perform, she dazzles.
Appearing with the tribute band, The Divine L’s, Tracey bears a striking resemblance visually and audibly to Divinyls lead singer Chrissy Amphlett.
This show pays more than just a tribute to the stars of years past, the whole show is a homage to the greats.
The Divine L’s are a high energy and high quality tribute band giving new life to songs such as Rhiannon, Pleasure and Pain, I Touch Myself, Seven Wonders, Landslide, Gypsy and so many more.
As a support act to the Diviny Ls, Tracey Coombes also pays tribute to other sensational rock and roll women such as Stevie Nicks and Blondie in her Rock Diva’s show.
Tracey is well known to Australian audiences from being thrown in the rock‘n’roll deep end as an 18 year old with Channel Seven’s touring showband Moto X.
She also spent a decade touring the biggest venues in the country with the Australian Meatloaf tribute show where she thrilled audiences with her faithful recreations of the original album backing vocalist, Ellen Foley and opened the shows with her amazing Bonnie Tyler tribute.
Recreating her idol’s music is not taken lightly and Tracey has surrounded herself with the seasoned hard rocking professionals of rock band Siryn and together they deliver the most authentic experience possible.
Catch Tracey Coombes in the Rock Divas and Divine L’s show at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Friday 30 October at 8pm.
Tickets are just $10 for non-members and free for members and can be purchased at reception or dial‘n’charge on 5447 1766.
