At the heart of the community

THIS weekend the Pomona and District Community House will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a family fun day.
The celebrations are in honour of the community house that was established in November 1995 when a committee was formed.
Now, 20 years later, the Pomona and District Community House (PCH) is known throughout the Noosa Shire and the Sunshine Coast as being a leader among community centres.
The event will be held on Saturday 7 November, at Lawson Shed, Memorial Avenue, Pomona, from 9.30am to 1pm.
The family fun day will offer a day of free fun including face painting, a sausage sizzle, jumping castle and lots of demonstrations, plus live entertainment from the Billy T Bush Band.
