Noosa Today printer APN lauded

By JONATHON HOWARD

NEWSPAPER printing experts APN Yandina has received some much deserved recognition for printing Noosa Today, during the annual newspaper print industry awards, known as SWUG.
The awards, held in Darwin, are hotly contested by printers from all over Australia.
Noosa Today was entered by the APN production team in the “Best Newspaper on Enhanced Stock (over 50gsm SW/DW) – Category 4”.
Despite narrowly missing out on the gong, APN Yandina’s printing of Noosa Today was named runner-up.
APN Yandina had last year won the award.
APN Print Yandina also won the Best Print Quality award in their category for double-width presses, and APN Print Toowoomba was runner-up and third in the two Single-width press categories.
The awards recognise the hard work and commitment from APN Yandina team that produce thousands of regional newspapers throughout Queensland on a daily basis.
