LOCALS are invited to indulge in a classy afternoon tea as the Santa’s Classy Helpers fund-raising activities draw to a close for 2015.
Throughout the year, Santa’s Classy Helpers have held an array of lunches, dinners and afternoon teas to bring together people in the community who want to support those doing it tough throughout the holiday season.
At each event, participants are asked to bring donations that relate to a theme and will then be added to the charity shop that is set up at The J each December for local families.
The final afternoon tea for the group will be held on Friday 27 November from 2.30pm at Cafe Doonan.
Guests are asked to bring Christmas treats as well as a bag of potatoes, oranges or anything fresh that can be stored for a week in the lead-up to the big event.
The cost of the afternoon tea is $15 per person and anyone who would like to attend is asked to phone Noosa Classy Lady on 5449 7599 to confirm their attendance.
