GEOGRAPHY, geophysics and mapping merge to create works of art at the latest Pop Up Art event at the Cooroy Butter Factory.
The latest artist in residence Beatrice Prost specialises in multi-medium works, moving between ceramics, mixed media painting and carving on paper.
Her art aims to encourage viewers to pause and to provoke thoughts about how our landscapes influence our identity.
Beatrice will be working on site throughout December to build up a complete new series of large carved works on paper which will be shown at an exhibition in Hong Kong next year.
The Pop Up Art event at The Butter Factory is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm,
and Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 3pm.
There will be an official opening on Friday 4 December, at 6pm, in conjunction with the launch of Christmas in Cooroy.
