Tewantin – Noosa will be participating in Super Challenge commencing early January. There is a trial match at 9am on Saturday, 5 December. You also have the opportunity to attend training with Rick 12.30 Mondays and with Scotty on Thursday evenings at 5.15.
John Madill’s Ladies Tuesday nominated Fours. The winners were Gill McDonald, Carol Studley, Jeanette Emery and Debbie Austin. The runners-up were Et Kellett, Eileen Macdonald, Sophie Gale and Judith Boakes.
Laguna Estate Men’s Wednesdays Pairs were won by Rick McDonald and Geoff Lewis (+20) Triples winners were George Manera, Steve Curry and David Dean (+25). The Jackpot $39 was won by Teams Moss and Dean.
Men’s Championship ‘A’ Singles winner was Dave Buckley who won over John McGill in a very exciting and tight finish 25/22 making it back to back wins for David.
Men’s championship Fours semi-finalists are team Hackett versus team Coulter and team Wood versus team Schofield to be played at 9am Sunday 6 December followed by the final at 1pm.
Ivory Palms Thursday ‘Open Pairs’ were won by Rick McDonald and Sharon Briggs. The runners-up were Thelma and Ian Sanday. The jackpot was not won and carries over.
Noosa Landscape Supplies ‘Friendly’ Friday Triples won by Ken Brooks, Bob Grott, Alan Curtis. The runners-up were Terry Nash, George Clough and Don Gull. The Jackpot of $287 was won by Teams McCallum and Donoghue.
Presentation Night on Saturday was a great night enjoyed by all.
Christmas Lunch is at the Tewantin RSL Club on 21 December at 11.30am for a noon start.

This Wednesday is the final night of play and I am told that it is very close and will depend on who beats who this week to decide the winner.
Thursday – High Rollers Ladder is again close to the end with two weeks to go with the final night on the 17th followed by the presentation. Good luck everyone.
