THE third annual Noosa Summer Swim returns to the shores of Noosa Main Beach for another epic event – and this time, there’s even more to look forward to.
Now featuring a Sunday program of events, the Noosa Summer Swim is attracting the likes of Olympic golden girl Libby Trickett, Bondi Rescue Life Guard Deano Gladstone, and World Series Swims Ambassador and former Olympian Michael Klim, all set for a long weekend in Noosa.
This Saturday 30 January the Junior Giants events, designed for kids aged between eight and 16 years of age will kick off the weekend with the 300m course. Later in the day a 1000m Junior Giants event will close the program.
The Noosa 1km and 2km courses remain the popular choice for those keen to train, race, or just enjoy some fun in the surf and the longer 3km marathon distance is a chance for seasoned swimmers to push their limits.
Sunday events will feature Beach Yoga with local guru Kat Harding offering two 30-minute sessions that will suit everyone from yoga starters to yoga enthusiasts.
Following the Beach Yoga, you can train alongside Michael Klim and special guests on Noosa Main Beach in the Milk and Co. Active Club.
This is your opportunity to enjoy a fun, social fitness session that you can take part in with friends and family. The session will include a range of beach circuits designed to get your heart rate up and keep you moving. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to join in the fun for just $10.
It’s not too late to enter for the Noosa Summer Swim, online entries close at 4pm on Friday 29 January.
