If you’re a fan of Queen then head to the Villa Noosa on Saturday 23 April to watch Queen come alive in the most accurate and realistic tribute you will ever see.
Brisbane-based Killer Queen has been paying homage to Britain’s regal rock quartet for over 13 years and have fine-tuned their act to bring even the most loyal Queen fan to their knees.
Elaborate costumes, superb musicianship, accurate instruments and with all the cast resembling the original members of Queen, you will be forgiven to think you’re in the presence of the real band.
Front man John Blunt, one of the longest standing members of the band, said his passion for Queen started when he was a teenager.
“When I was 17 I remember a friend picked me up in his car and he had We Will Rock You blearing from his speakers,” John said.
“I fell in love with the music right there and then.”
Killer Queen have travelled the world performing their tribute show, amazing audiences from one side of the globe to another.
“We recently toured India and performed at the Norway Skanevik Blues Festival for the fourth time,” John said.
“This year we have a tour of Singapore and Brazil in the pipeline.”
Now Killer Queen are set to rock the stage right here in Noosa and John says this isn’t a show to miss.
“We play hit after hit, there’s always so much love, happiness and always a great time to be had,” John said.
“We guarantee one hell of a great night that’s out of this world.”
