Eagles come out to play

IT WAS another beautiful Autumn day as the Noosa Eagles played their first game in May at their home ground at Good Shepherd Lutheran College.
Under 6 Black played their best game yet but were unfortunately defeated 3-2 by the Currimundi Starfish. Myles Rollason and Zach Ravezzani both scored goals and Ryder MacDonald won player of the match for his improved skills on the field.
Under 7 Black defeated the Bli Bli Jousters 8-1 after a display of great skills from both sides. Player of the week was awarded to Aiden Perquin who played a very good game and nearly scored a few goals. Eli Robins and Rohnan Mills scored the goals, while three goal keepers – Kaitlin Perquin, Charlee Benton and Tristan Purcell – stopped many attempts though out the game.
Under 8 Gold had a cracking day and a cracking score as they defeated Under 8 Black 15-2. Archer Ward took home player of the match for his great team work. Goals scored by Xavier Attard, Bonnie Boyes, Joel Fitzgerald, Bella Hillegers, Harrison Howard, Ty Oakley, Reuben Taylor and Montannah Ward.
Under 8 Red defeated the Nambour Panthers12-5 in a high scoring game. Kallum Kilgour was awarded player of the day scoring his first goal of the season and for his constant improvement. With the introduction of new player Josh Ison U8 Red are becoming a great little team. Goal scorers were Tyler, Elliot, Kallum and Noah.
Under 9 Black continued their winning streak defeating the Buderim Panthers 11-0. While celebrating his 8th birthday, Jake Macdonald scored a very determined goal, which was his first for the season. Other goal scorers were Alaska Rosenkranz, Nathan Hindmarsh, Jaimen Slavin, Charlie Drew and Thomson Nimac. Josh Plant was awarded player of the week with his commitment and determination in the defence line.
Under 11 Gold defeated Currimundi Vipers 7-2. Noosa had an amazing first half of the game as the players all held their positions, passed to each other which they scored six of their seven goals. Player of the week was awarded to Hunter Baistow who also scored one of the goals, other goal scorers were Hayden Martin, Oscar Morgan, Bailey Atley and Jude Youens.
