Take the time for coffee

GRABBING a coffee in the morning has become a common ritual for many Noosa locals and it’s no wonder with an abundance of good quality baristas and brews on offer throughout the region.
Locals can be seen strolling along the Noosa River foreshore with a cup in hand or catching up on the latest news at a local café.
But the good news is coffee doesn’t just taste great, it can also be good for you.
Whether strong or sweet, experts say a morning caffeine hit is loaded with antioxidants and beneficial nutrients that can improve health.
A single cup of coffee can contain vitamin B2 and B5, magnesium, niacin, potassium and manganese.
Also coffee also gives that added energy boost to kick the morning off to a good start.
Experts say caffeine is to thank for added energy, improved mood and faster brain function.
But in Noosa, grabbing a coffee is also about taking time out to sit back and enjoy the beautiful region and to catch up with friends.
Why not find a shady spot on the Noosa River foreshore or pull up a chair at a local cafe and take the time to stop and smell the coffee.
