Top chefs at work

NOOSA’S finest chefs are busy preparing their work stations as thousands flock to the region for Noosa Food and Wine 2016 which kicks off today.
Local chefs will be joined by the who’s who of the culinary world including celebrity chefs Pete Evans and Alastair McLeod as well as local and National big names including Matt Golinski, Peter Kuruvita and Frank Camorra.
The fun starts today with sold out events pulling record numbers of visitors and locals, but don’t dismay, there are many free events on hand to get you into the swing of all things food and wine.
Head along to Rococo’s Spanish Quarter on Friday 20 May from 3pm for a spanish treat or find some delicious food at the Noosa Junction Twilight Markets’ Flava Night from 5pm.
If wine is more your thing, head along to the Sheraton Noosa Resort and Spa free wine tasting event on Saturday 21 May from noon or take a leisurely stroll around the Noosa Farmers’ Market on Sunday 22 May as produce to plate takes on a whole new meaning.
