ONE of Noosa’s most active and popular organisations has yet another reason to celebrate.
In November, U3A Noosa will be celebrating its 25th birthday and everyone is invited to join in the celebrations.
U3A Noosa, now boasting over 600 members, caters for those who may have retired from full-time work but who never retire from lifelong learning.
In celebration of the great work, the staff at U3A Noosa are honouring the past, engaging with the present and embracing the future as their birthday theme.
The special birthday open day will be held in November, and will allow visitors and members past or present to celebrate the achievements of the learning centre.
The event will reminisce earlier times while honouring past leaders, members and those long-term members whose loyalty continue to make the organisation so relevant and vibrant.
The staff at U3A are calling on members past and present to be a part of the celebrations. If you would like to be involved, call 5440 5500 or drop into reception at 64 Poinciana Avenue, Tewantin, weekdays between 9am and 4pm to ensure your participation or find out more.
