AN excellent training session on Friday night set the tone for the Under 6 boys’ weekend. The first game against Caloundra, with the team showing great teamwork and tries scored by almost every player.
The Under 7 team defeated the USC Barbarians (55-20), with the player of the match going to Uli Visser.
The Under 8 Fins defeated the Brothers Rhinos (60-40), with the Fins making the most of a wide paddock at the University grounds. Player of the match went to Jaxon Peermamode.
The Under 8 Reds defeated the Caloundra Black team (55-15), with thanks to great teamwork and a brilliant try-saving tackle from player of the match, Will Drake.
The Under 10 Reds defeated Grammar (47-5), while the Under 11 Fins defeated Maroochydore (28-10) where the Fins took on the number three team on the ladder.
The Under 11 Noosa Reds lost to the Brothers Wolves (5-29), but the team is sure to bounce back quickly to resume their run of wins.
