Never too late to learn

IT’S not too late for Noosa residents who want to study this year, with mid-year entry in a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) now open.
USC Manager of Student Recruitment Elisa Reeves said mid-year entry was ideal for those who have taken some time off after finishing school, as well as for people considering a career change or enhancing their existing qualifications.
“Whether a recent school leaver or more senior, people don’t have to wait until semester one next year to start their higher education journey,” Mrs Reeves said.
USC offers mid-year entry for almost 90 study programs including Business, Communication, Creative Industries, Design, Education, Engineering, Health, Humanities, Information Technology, Psychology, Science and Social Sciences.
Mrs Reeves said USC’s free award-winning university bridging program, Tertiary Preparation Pathway, (TPP), was also available in Semester 2, which begins on 25 July.
“TPP is a great alternative entry option for people who may not believe they are eligible for university or who want to upgrade their study skills before beginning undergraduate degrees next year,” she said.
USC was recently ranked the best public university in Australia for the overall quality of its educational experience for undergraduate students.
