A peek into Tim Winton’s mind

ANNIE’S Books Peregian is thrilled to welcome award-winning author Tim Winton as he gets up close and personal in Noosa.
Annie Grossman of Annie’s Books Peregian said she was thrilled to finally be able to welcome Tim to the region.
“We are so thrilled that Tim Winton is coming to Noosa. An event with Tim has been my major goal since I opened my shop in 2008,” Ms Grossman said.
“I am very pleased to be partnering with the Noosa Library Service for this event. The word has been sent out to my mailing list and the library members and the bookings are flooding in.”
Tim will give guests a rare peek into his mind as the audience watches his imagination at work as the Miles Franklin Award winning author reveals the real characters and events behind his bestselling novels in this intimate discussion ranging across his boyhood, movies and road-trips, family and faith to the natural world, art and writing.
Join Tim at the River Deck Restaurant, Noosa Marina, on Monday 3 October at noon. Tickets are $55 and include a delicious two-course meal and a wonderful author talk.
Tickets are available from the Noosa Library and can be booked by calling 5329 6555 or online at www.noosa.qld.gov.au.
