THE 2016 club triples championships were recently completed for both men and ladies.
Men’s champions: Dave Buckly, Lindsay Pateman (substitute Bill Beatie) and Mark Doran.
Ladies’ champions: Gill McDonald, Kerrie Wilson and Jennie Smith.
Saturday 9 July, jackpot pairs.
Winners: John Joyce and G. Spry. Runners-up: Bev Dickinson and Eric Bolesworth.
The jackpot was not won.
Tuesday 12 July, ladies day.
Winners: P. Goetie, Y. Ambrey and V. Lynch. Runners-up: H. Birt, V. Vignon and M. Dodd.
Wednesday 13 July, men’s bowls.
Winners: Rodney Gunderson, Peter Renwick, Alan Curtis and Ken Brooks (+10).
Runners-up: Len Saunderson, Bill Thorn, Graham Dodd and Brian Dodd (+9).
The jackpot was not won.
Thursday 14 July, jackpot pairs.
Winners: Daphne Reed and Robyn McAnelly. Runners-up: Colin O’Neil and R. Liddall.
A $216 margin jackpot was won by Lindsay Barker and Ron Evans.

The State of Origin open fours event that was planned to be held 16 and 17 July was not played due to wet weather.
