The Magic is back

By JONATHON HOWARD

TO celebrate its second year anniversary, Noosa Cinemas is bringing back Magic Mike (MA+15) for all those who missed it and for those who want to see Channing Tatum do it all again.
The story goes that Mike, an experienced stripper, takes a younger performer called ‘The Kid’ under his wing and schools him in the arts of partying, picking up women and making easy money.
Very loosely based on a true story, the film stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Olivia Munn and of course everyone’s favourite male entertainer; Matthew McConaughey while directed by Steven Soderbergh.
So, grab your girlfriends and spend an evening at the movies with Noosa 5 Cinemas’ monthly ‘Chicks at the Flicks’ event.
Pre show entertainment starts at 6:30pm with stalls, raffles and lucky door prizes, with the movie commencing at 7pm.
All tickets are just $20 which includes a CATF gift bag. Patrons must be 15-years-of-age or accompanied by an adult guardian over the age of 18.
Why not make a night of it with wine tasting and canapés at Shades Wine Bar and Cafe. Tastings from 5pm at $15 per person. Contact Nick and Gareth at Shades for bookings on (07) 5448 0055. Limited spaces available.
Here’s your chance to win a double pass to see the re-screening of Magic Mike – everyone’s favourite stripper. Simply email your full name and mobile phone number to: newsdesk@noosatoday.net.au
