What the residents said

Sue and Simon Wischer

NOOSA Today asked several Peregian Springs residents whether the suburb should be included in the EDV re-boundary bid and the results were surprising.
“I am all for the idea – but I’m also concerned about some of the cost of amalgamation and whether the true figures have been revealed.” Simon Wisher and his wife Sue, of Peregian Springs said.
“I would prefer the move from a low density (less development) perspective – yes.” Maggie Nelson, of Peregian Springs (could not be photograpghed).
“Yes, of course (Peregian Springs) it should. We’re only down the road from Noosa and it makes sense – I actually thought we already were a part of Noosa Council.” Alli Norman, of Peregian Springs.
“I reckon the whole de-amalgamation process was silly in the first place. But I would welcome the move toward including Peregian Springs in the council.” Adam Joy, of Noosaville.
