IT’S time to once again turn Noosa Sound into a sea of pink with the 2016 BIC SUP Paddle in Pink back for another year.
Following the success of last year’s Paddle in Pink fundraiser, event organisers are excited to announce that the 2016 event will be bigger and better than ever.
Event organisers are expecting more than 500 paddlers to take to the waterways this year to help raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Paddle in Pink will be held on Sunday 16 October from 7.30am at Noosa Woods and anyone with a stand-up paddle board, kayak, canoe or outrigging boat is urged to dress in pink and come along to paddle.
There will be prizes for the best dressed paddler, team of paddlers and best dressed pet, plus former Noosa Councillor Sandy Bolton will return as the event patron.
Registration prior to the event is recommended. Anyone who would like to take part can register at www.paddleinpink.gofundraise.com.au. Entry is $20 per adult with children 14 and under free but must be accompanied by an adult.
