His book is a story of a frightened youngster’s fears and dreams and following his dreams into manhood.
He writes of people who helped and guided him, of sports people, of fight people, of gym and hotel people and passionately describes his time of living on the streets.
Many other hidden secrets from his former life that he has never shared with anyone and lessons of life through sports people, gangsters, jokers, scoundrels and angels promise to deliver an honest and inspiring read.
Bobby led the Australian Boxing team in Jakarta at the Presidents Cup in 1987 as captain and he took home a silver medal after his fight against the Russian world champion.
These days, he is the proud owner of Awesome Wilson Boxing in Rene Street, where he and wife Katrina are folks who mean a lot to those who know them and recieve the highest of allocades from those who attend the gym.
