Tennis kids are champs

By Emily Burns

COOLUM TENNIS
THERE was a huge turnout for the Coolum Junior Club Championships.
Many tightly contested matches were played and friendly rivalries formed.
Congratulations to Junior Green Ball Champion Brody Barnett and to Open Junior Champion Kristy Drain.
Also thanks to all those who came and made the Christmas party a wonderful event.
From 3pm, all courts were full with members playing doubles and enjoying a social hit.
This was followed by a delicious dinner and presentations at sunset. Congratulations to the club’s A and B Grade winners.
Andrew has opportunities for children of differing standards to participate in his holiday camps.
Contact him if you would like to be part of these enjoyable sessions.
Coolum Tennis Club Committee would like to thank all individuals who have patronised the club’s tennis based activities in 2016 and hope you will continue this association in the coming year.
