The Noosa Hinterland will star in the popular HGTV show House Hunters International when filming for a Sunshine Coast episode wraps later today.
Led by producer, director and Kin Kin resident Anita Poteri, the film crew has followed the house hunting journey of Brisbane-based couple Steve and Fiona Henley as they look for their perfect home.
Steve is keen to make a tree-change from the urban environment of the city and build his dream dome home on acreage, but wife Fiona wants a more modern, move-in ready home.
Over the four days of filming, Noosa-based real estate expert Brendan Buckenham shows the Henleys through three homes; a Landsborough home, vacant land in Kin Kin and on Monday (30 January) they inspected a dome home in Pomona.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home was built 12 years ago and offers exceptional views, but will it be a good compromise for the couple?
Noosa Today was on the scene for a behind the scenes look at filming but wasn’t allowed to know which home the buyers chose. Everyone will have to wait for the show to air on 9Life in six months’ time.
