NBN at Noosa Connects event

NBN Co will be in Noosa this month to take part in council’s Noosa Connects digital event on Wednesday 19 April at The J.
Businesses and residents wondering when they can connect into faster internet speeds will find out all they need to know at the information night as 20 exhibitors offer information on holistic internet solutions and innovative practices.
Local and national Telcos will provide information on how to access high speed internet and how to equip business for the new services made possible with the introduction of the NBN.
According to NBN Co, almost 3000 premises are ready for an NBN service in the Noosa Shire Council area, with a further 32,000 under construction right now.
Noosa Council Economic Development advisor Carolyn Bullen said local businesses were vital to the local economy and council wanted to support them.
“We are bringing everyone together, so that businesses can access all the information they need in the one location,” she said.
The information and networking night will be held on Wednesday 19 April from 5-7.30pm at The J, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Junction. Anyone interested in attending can book through www.noosa.qld.gov.au/noosa-connects.
