Noosa Fins 25 def by Saints 30
Down a player or two, the Dowling and Neylan Under 9 Noosa Fins showed great fighting spirit in what was a very tightly-contested Noosa home game against the Saints. The forwards began to work well in the second half clearing the ball in the ruck. Some fantastic tackles were made and there was excellent running from the backs to gain some good ground.
Special mention to Phoenix this week who stole the show with a crash ball meat pie, his first and a great effort!
After a gripping second half try for try game, at the final whistle the Saints were up by one. The Dominos Pizza Player of the Week went to Rory McIntyre.
Noosa Reds 25 def Brothers 15
With seven minutes on the clock and still no score from either side, an appreciative crowd knew they were in for a humdinger of a battle.
The Reds finally secured a valuable five pointer despite stoic defence from the well-drilled Brothers White side.
At half time the coaching panel demanded more structure for the second half, the boys delivered and created space outside for the backs to roam as a result.
A much-improved defensive effort from the Reds this week kept the McNasty count low. The Dominos Pizza Player of the Week went to Conor Thomas.

Noosa 34 def Maleny 5
Noosa Dolphins took on the Maleny Mountain Men. Dolphins concentrated on teamwork, both in attack and defence, which saw the boys come out with a great win. The Dominos Pizza Player of the Week was Hunter Smith.
