Police divers hunted below the surface of the Noosa River on Tuesday morning looking for sunken motors from several stolen boats. A group of teens who have allegedly been stealing small boats from Noosa jettys recently admitted to police that they had dumped the motors in the river and sunk the boats over the bar. Police were hoping to recover some of the sunken outboard motors as evidence to build their case against the thieves.
