Good Friday Flicks at Peregian Beach

For the perfect start to the Easter school holidays, head office to Peregian Outdoor Movies on Friday 30 March (Good Friday) to see all-time classic flick The Lion King on the big screen under the stars.
The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to take his father Mufasa’s place as king. However, after Simba’s uncle Scar kills Mufasa, he must stop his uncle from conquering the Pride Lands and avenge his father’s death.
Rated G, the film’s uplifting messages of courage, loyalty and hope make this timeless tale entertainment for all ages.
The community screening will kick off at 6.30pm at Peregian Beach Park in front of the Surf Club.
Come along with your picnic rugs and chairs.
There will be a candy bar and popcorn available at the event and food and drinks available at village shops and restaurants.
The screening is organised by The Peregian Beach Business Association, along with local sponsors Mortgage Choice, Peregian Beach, Boom Shankar, The Heart of Beauty, Sparks Architecture, Peregian Breeze, Ocean Advice, FliteFit, Peregian Beach College, Pitchfork Restaurant, LJ Hooker Peregian Beach, and St Andrew’s Anglican College.
Entry is by donation.
