HE was one of Australia’s most loved and most controversial Biggest Loser contestants, now John Morrall is inviting a group of 24 lucky Noosa residents on a weight loss journey of their own.
“Since the show people have approached me and asked ‘what was it like?’ and ‘how difficult was if for you?’” John said.
“Now I want to take people on my own weight loss journey and let them experience firsthand one of the toughest challenge in their lives, but something that could turn their lives around.”
John has also opened up about his experiences behind the scenes on the Biggest Loser and revealed a private struggle with the producers and his personal goal to drop the kilos.
“It was one of the toughest challenges of my life,” he said
“It was an emotional and physical roller coaster and often what people saw on TV was not what it was like in reality – including how I was kicked off the show.”
Jetts Fitness Noosa, in partnership with Noosa Today, is pleased to announce the 12-week Journey.
If you have battled the bulge for too long, or you’re just motivated to lose a few extra kilos – this is the journey for you.
Any potential contestants have to simply write to Noosa Today with a brief story outlining why they feel they should be a part of the Journey.
John said the Journey was open to 24 competitors, who would be divided into four groups of six and each group would be assigned a Jetts personal trainer.
“This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and now I have the club and the motivation to make a difference in other people’s lives,” he said.
John said his weight loss challenge would be different and he has no desire to kick anyone out of The Jetts Journey.
“There’s no elimination, but there will be some amazing prizes to the top three participants,” he said.
John said he has some other special surprises in store for the participants, as well as revealing a few behind-the-scene secrets of his experience on TV.
“I want to show others how they can work towards changing their lives in my own journey,” he said.
Participants will be required to pay a weekly fee and more details around prizes and additional details will be revealed in good time.
