A Spring Art Affair opens

An original art piece makes for a special and unique gift idea and Wallace House has a variety of affordable local works on display as part of their local artist exhibition.
The exhibition from the Wallace House Oils and Acrylic group will open on September 5 and offer beautiful art works at an affordable price.
Titled “A Spring Art Affair”, the exhibition will be opened by artist, Lizzie Connor.
The group of gifted artists paint in an array of styles from portraits to landscapes; abstract and impressionist to figurative and realism; still life and real life – such diversity that exhibition attendees usually find that special art statement for themselves or as a gift.
Artist and group co-ordinator Fran Bate said the art exhibition is always well-received.
“The art exhibited each year is very well received by the general public not only for the quality of the work but also its affordability.
“Many local residents have works of our artists adorning their walls.” she said.
The opening night in on 5 September, from 5.30pm, and attendees can enjoy wine and nibbles and the first chance to secure a piece of unique art for your home or that someone special.
