37-year-old Tewantin man Gilleard Pearson appeared in Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday 19 March regarding alleged offences committed in the Noosa River.
Noosa police charged the man after investigations into a string of recent offences reported across the Noosa River and its tributaries.
Charges include Enter and Commit an Indictable Offence on a Vessel, Unlawful Use of a Vessel (jet ski), fuel theft and other theft from vessels moored along the river, drug offences and property suspected stolen offences.
During the Investigations police searched a Tewantin residence and located property suspected of being stolen from the vessel Catalina.
Police also retrieved a Kawasaki jet ski valued at $20,000 from mangroves that they believed to be stolen from Noosa Inlet on 25 February 2019.
He was released on strict bail conditions which include him not being permitted on a powered or unpowered vessel along the Noosa River or its tributaries.
The man is due to appear again in Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday 2 April.
