THE September school holidays are just around the corner and Noosa Council is ready with a bunch of kid-friendly, interactive activities.
If you’ve ever dreamed of running away to the circus, then here is your chance to learn some tricks. In hands-on workshops, Sparkles the Clown will teach children tips and techniques of the circus trade.
Children can make hula hoops and juggling balls at Noosaville Library on 23 September and at Cooroy Library on 24 September.
Josh the Robot returns with a new adventure, the fifth in the series, in “Josh goes to the library”. The book launch will be held at Noosaville Library on Friday 26 September, from 10am.
Kids can meet the author and artist, Peter Rowe, and help create a new toy to add to Josh’s group of special friends.
The Butter Factory Arts Centre offers children aged 5 to 12 years a chance to get creative with colour while experiencing the Fraser Island paintings of artist Judith Law. Noosa Regional Gallery hosts a range of spring art classes inspired by the works on display.
Goldilocks Rocks at the J in a lively interactive show. Call in at Cooroy, Noosaville or the Mobile Libraries for a chance to win one of three double passes to see the show on Tuesday 30 September at 11am.
