Round 4: Piranhas (A. Munro, M. Clarke, S. Campbell, J. Mikkelson) 10 d Mantis (B. Brown, O. Estraviz, L. Gore, W. Byrne) 5.
The score line defies the close battle here with eight rubbers going to five sets. The Mantis unfortunately is languishing on the bottom and will watch the finals from the sidelines.
Gators (R. Gore, J. Murphy, B. Muller, R. Yao) 9 d Barracudas (R. Wheller, J. Brown, J. Campbell, S. Lidden) 6.
Finally the top team were beaten via a comprehensive white wash in the doubles. The individual front-runners Jordan and John eyed each other off in a vital showdown with Jordan victorious and now narrowly sits alone on top with one week to go in the qualifying rounds.

Another surprise win by virtue of supremacy in the doubles, completing a week highlighted by upsets leaving us questioning who will win this season?
Competition night is Wednesday from 7pm with practice session on Monday evenings from 7.15 pm. Social groups meet three afternoons a week. All sessions are held at the Bicentennial centre Sunshine beach.
