Sunshine Coast trio to kick start Noosa’s Drop Festival

With The Drop Festival right on our doorstep, why not get familiar with local band Fragile Animals who will be kicking off tomorrow’s epic lineup. The trio made their debut in 2017, their clean and crisp sound and soulful melody from lead singer Victoria Jenkins has earned them a spot among Drop’s impressive array of artists.”We’re stoked!” Victoria told Noosa Today.”It’s such a great lineup and a great festival, we’re very excited to be a part of it.

“We released a new song on Thursday so we’ll be playing some brand new music.”Festivals always have a different energy to them as well so I’m sure our set will reflect that,” Victoria said.Though the Drop isn’t the first festival this alt-gaze trio have been handpicked by, after becoming an Unearthed Feature Artist on Triple J, the band won themselves a spot on the lineup for the Big Pineapple festival in 2018.The indie rock band will be kick starting tomorrow’s musical antics at 1.30pm, but if you aren’t attending the event, you can catch Fragile Animal’s at one of their next upcoming gigs.”We’ve got a cool few shows coming up and we’re touring later in the year,” Victoria said.”We’ve got a bunch of new material that we’d like to record as well so it’s shaping up to be a busy year.”You can also find the trio on Spotify, or keep up with them on social media fragile_animals.
