NOOSA’S luxury property market continues to show signs of recovery after a high profile Witta Circle sale was finalised this week.
The five-bedroom waterfront property at 17 Witta Circle was owned by former Toll Holdings boss and chairman of the Essendon Football Club Paul Little.
The property was sold to Brisbane high-flyer Dana White and her husband Tony for $6.5 million, according to Property Observer who broke the news of the sale.
Media outlets falsely named Mrs White as the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), who shares the same name.
The incorrect articles were subsequently spread across the internet, but were quickly retracted with a correction.
Little lost about $1.1 million on the sale having paid $7.6 million for the property in 2007.
The house went on the market in 2011 with a price tag of $7.2 million.
The property comes with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a cinema and an office.
Barry Andersen at Rymar Properties bought the property for $2.6 million in 2005, selling it to Little in 2007.
The Whites own a house in Clayfield, the Brisbane suburb which was bought in 2009 when the family moved from Albury.
