A Strange Brew all right

FROM Elvis to The Beatles, Van Morrison to The Rolling Stones, and AC/DC to Led Zeppelin – overproof rock and blues band, Strange Brew covers a lot of territory and does it with finesse.
The Brisbane-based, classic rock and blues cover band, has been pounding the boards, making waves and pleasing audiences now for almost two decades.
Strange Brew is made up of a great mix including Shane Kells on lead vocals and percussion, who delivers his uninhibited, gregarious and spontaneous attitude along with a wicked sense of humour and an outrageously powerful vocal style.
Stewart Paxton on guitar and vocals is the band’s versatile lead and rhythm guitarist and is a dynamic and flamboyant player, while Gino Mellino is on bass and vocals, and Laurie Keating’s on drums and percussion providing a “take-no-prisoners” back beat.
Cure your ills or at least make yourself smile for a while by grabbing a dose of Strange Brew on 17 October in the Diggers Bar at Tewantin-Noosa RSL.
Tickets are $10 for non-members or free to members and are available at reception or dial’n’charge on 5447 1766.
