THIS October, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is asking Australians to go pink and help fund vital breast cancer research.
With the support of its corporate partners, NBCF has a range of beauty and lifestyle products available, with each product contributing to breast cancer research and the foundation’s goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
With breast cancer affecting a staggering one in eight women in their lifetime, it’s likely that you know someone who is, or will be, affected by this disease.
NBCF believes the most effective way to improve the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer is through research.
“By buying a pink product this October, you are raising funds for breast cancer research that could one day help your mother, grandmother, daughter, sister or friend”, said Carole Renouf, CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Pink Ribbon Day, a campaign from the Cancer Council, is on 27 October and helps shine the spotlight on breast and gynaecological cancer.
You can show your support by purchasing and wearing a pink ribbon on Pink Ribbon Day, 27 October.
