Brewing up business

By JONATHON HOWARD

NEW business owner and footy fanatic Andrew Edelman has taken over Jamaica Blue Cafe in Noosa Civic and he’s breathing new life into the business.
The new-look cafe will showcase a sophisticated mix of modern features with a well-designed floor plan using smart solutions to maximise customers’ time out.
The renovations are expected to be complete by mid-November.
Mr Edelman and his wife Donna have made radical change of career paths as he previously work in defence logistics and his wife is also in the Australia Armed Forces.
The couple are now hoping to turn customers into regulars and regulars into friends.
“We’re really excited about the business and hope to use our passion to deliver the highest quality customer service for premium-coffee lovers,” he said.
Mr Edelman already has a strong sense of the local community as part of the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union Referees Association for several years.
The couple are also supported by their friendly team cook Paul Holding and barrista Tia Knott.
