A recommendation that a NBN Co fixed wireless network tower be approved for 153 Lake Flat Road, Boreen Point has been recommended to Noosa Council by its general committee.
On January 29 this year a 40m high tower (1.5km away from the new tower) was approved and the applicant was asked to consider other alternative sites on the same property. This has been done following community consultation. The new 31m tower will be sited and partially obscured among existing vegetation. It will service 630 properties within the Cootharaba and Boreen Point localities.
