SIROCCO co-owner Andy Slavin has retained his role as president of the Noosaville Business Association, following the association’s annual general meeting recently.
Mr Slavin will continue his tireless efforts to promote and nurture Noosaville’s business community, which is seeing a return to the hustle and bustle of post-2008 global financial crisis.
The meeting was attended by a record number of new and old members as well as business owners eager to find out more or to get involved.
Mr Slavin said there was a growing list of new initiatives taking place along the iconic Gympie Terrace including two major events in the local Community.
Tastes of Noosaville Night Market takes place every third Friday of the month at Thomas Street from 5.30pm.
Starry Nights Outdoor Movies in the Park takes place every second Friday of the month during summer at 6.30pm.
“We’ve had some amazing feedback about the inaugural Noosa Outrigger River Race and night markets, which have been hailed a huge success,” he said.
“We’re now working on a survey to Noosaville businesses to ask the question: “what would you like to see more of in Noosaville?”.”
Mr Slavin has more than a decade of experience at management level in the hospitality industry and Sirocco boasts multiple awards.
