NOOSA residents gathered at the Tewantin cenotaph on Tuesday to commemorate the 96th year of Remembrance Day. Residents were asked to bow their heads in united silence and consider the brutal realities of all wars and the need to honour and remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Among those who gathered were old friends and ex-service men (from left) Col Lawrence (Army), Wayne Carter (Airforce), Trevor Clarey (Army), Peter Smith (Army), Leo Brown (Army), John Reid (Army), David MacGregor (Army) and Neil Beasley (Navy).
