Top dance talent showcased

THE Dance Centre Peregian Springs treated its audience to a night of drama, colour, movement, technical precision and fun at its annual concert.
The four-hour dance extravaganza showcased the breadth and depth of dance talent at the dance school, while the vivid costumes, dramatic dances and superb choreography kept the audience enthralled.
Dance Centre Peregian Springs director Deborah Preece Broksom said the dance troupe excelled in what was a challenging concert.
“Putting on a show that comprised 20 dances then three short ballets, The Magic Toy Shop, Paquita and Graduation Ball, that we adapted especially for the concert, was a tall order but we did it,” she said.
“I am so very proud of all our dancers, they really excelled… I think our audience appreciated the end result of many months of rehearsals.
“We could not have done it without the help of our backstage team, who spent many hours arranging costumes and make up.
“Some of the dads even took part in the Graduation Ball.
“It was a great team effort from everyone and we all had so much fun.”
