THE Tewantin Noosa Lions Club ran its annual raffle for a $1000 prize plus a cuddly Lion toy for the grandkids.
The raffle was drawn on 19 December and the winner was Jean Allen of Pomona.
The funds raised through the raffle will assist Noosa District Blue Care in the leasing of a car for next year.
Tewantin Noosa Lions have had a long and rewarding relationship with the Blue Care group, with all the proceeds from the annual Christmas raffle being directed to this wonderful community service.
The Lions Club thanks all those who purchased a ticket and many of these people purchased Christmas Cakes and Puddings with the Lions Brand.
The Lions Club is also thankful to the local community, which helps achieve its goals – another wonderful Lions Project that helps our Local Community.
