Stage set for theatre

Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre (SCYT) was established in 2010 by theatrical personalities Madison Thew-Keyworth, Guy Harrison and David Williams.
SCYT aims to encourage, inspire and nurture young people on the Sunshine Coast who have a passion for performing arts by providing quality opportunities through training and performance.
In producing outstanding performers and technicians, SCYT strives to raise the standards, awareness and enthusiasm for theatre and the performing arts of the Sunshine Coast.
This year sees an exciting time for SCYT as it moves towards staging more productions in a calendar year than ever before, as well as an expansion of the regular timetable and training opportunities for youth.
This expansion, both in training opportunities and practical experience through productions, allows SCYT to work with and inspire more youth, as we move towards its fifth year as a company.
It is this balance between training and practical experience, provided in a fun and supportive environment that sets SCYT apart from others in the area and continues to uplift and inspire both the youth and their families involved.
For more information contact Madison on info@scyt.com.au or phone 0422 221 783.
