MORE than 200 people are expected to take a stand against domestic violence on Valentine’s Day when they take to the grass for the One Billion Rising dance.
The annual V Day dance will be held at the Lions Park, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville, on Saturday at 5pm.
Established on Valentine’s Day in 2012, the dance is part of the One Billion Rising campaign that raises awareness of violence against women.
Councillor Frank Wilkie will be the guest speaker on the day, followed by more than 200 people performing the Break the Chain dance routine.
To see this event in action, get along to the Lions Park on Saturday just before 5pm.
