More tennis with cooler weather

WITH Easter here and hopefully great weather, the courts are available to hire to work off some of your Easter excesses.
The courts can be hired from the coach on 041391505 or if he is not in attendance Coolum Pool can help you out. On Good Friday and other out of hours timeslots, the tennis courts can be hired through Des Adsett on 5446 1415 or 0416 054 485. During the school holidays, Junior coaching is available and Social Tennis will still be played on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings and Thursday nights.
Junior fixtures resume after the Easter holidays with a new winter season. It is not too late to inquire about a place in a team. Call Andrew on 041391505 if you are interested. The Ladies Friday tennis have a three-week break. Coolum Travellers had an unexpected win against the top team last Friday and this places them in third by .17 points and clearly ahead of the 4th team.
Congratulations Jenny, Victoria, Annette and Gloria for playing some great tennis against such a good consistent team. Coolum Tourists had a competitive match against Nambas also at home. The Tuesday nights fixtures is proving extremely competitive with most scores being recorded as 6 – 4 games. There is an opportunity for more players to join in. Some cooler weather is welcome after Easter and more great tennis.
