Hustle n Groove at the Imperial

The Rumbrellas

The Rumbrellas, Arabesk and Dan Horne will take to the stage in The Bunker for ‘HUSTLE n’ GROOVE’ at the Imperial Hotel Eumundi on Saturday 12 January.

Arabesk, the Australian songwriting award winners in 2011 and 2017, will lift your spirits with a touch of tango, reggae rhythms, jazz flavoured funky beats and even a traditional waltz.

English born Dan Horne is a foot stompin’ Australian blues and roots singer/songwriter who began his music career in 2014 performing on the streets, busking and travelling. His “one-man-band” style is a mesmerising blend of foot drums, harmonica and multiple guitars and his laid back attitude and ability to engage any crowd is instantly infectious.

Since the release of his debut album ‘From the Roots’, Dan has rigorously toured Australia, playing festivals and shows across the country. The Rumbrellas are a three piece explosion of funk, soul, reggae and hip hop from the Sunshine Coast.

Fronted by Ryan Giles, principle songwriter, together with drummer /producer, Mark Paltridge and Justin Wernicke in charge of all things guitar and bass, The Rumbrellas have drawn inspiration from the sounds of the late 80s to mid 90s hiphop and indie world.

Doors open 7.30pm with tickets pre-sale $15 (+ booking fee) through Oztix or phone the Imperial Hotel on 5442 8811.
