An aesthetics nurse has spilled the tea on the most popular cosmetic treatments in Noosa, as she works to help clients rebuild their confidence and drop the taboo of a healthy glow.

Senior registered cosmetic nurse specialist Aimee Browne is the founder and director of a locally owned and operated boutique cosmetic injectable clinic located in the Noosaville Medical and Professional Centre at 90 Goodchap Street.

The most popular treatments in Noosa are anti-wrinkle injections and lip fillers, for a range of women and men from 18-80 years old.

“A lot of people think anti-wrinkle and filler treatments will make someone look like a Ken or Barbie doll but this is due to the media and celebrity/social media hype these days where people are doing it in the wrong way and look fake and ridiculous,“ Aimee said.

“My favourite transformations are those that are natural and mean a lot to the individual patient.“

Anti-wrinkle treatment is best started as a preventative measure to assist in slowing down the formation of lines.

“A lot of ladies don’t realise we can do lip enhancements in a natural way which gives a slightly plumper, more hydrated look,“ she said.

“It helps prevent lip and upper lip lines. We focus on just replenishing volume that has been lost due to the ageing process.

“I recently treated a beautiful lady who had a horrible domestic violence relationship many years ago.

“She has nerve damage and a very crooked smile, I was able to even up her smile and lips and she now smiles again instead of trying not to smile so no one detected her asymmetry.

“These are the stories that light me up.“
